Presenter:

Malechus and Boundfate

Malechus was introduced to the kink community in 2017, and found his home the same night. He is a switch, an owner, a dominant, a top, a bottom, and someone who does his best to experience everything he can, at least once. Over the years he has learned from some of the best, and has presented around the Great Lakes Region on topics related to kink and polyamory. He is co-owner of the Facebook group The Polyamorous Underground, a space focused on growth and well being in the kink and polyamorous communities with over 20,000 members. He is also a member of the House of Fang and Claw, a blended kink and poly household that includes crossover power dynamics and lots of edge cases.

Fate has been active in the lifestyle for over 20 years. A GP veteran, she is a mostly subby switch collared to both IceBear and Malechus. She enjoys building up her poly house, The House of Fang and Claw, playing board games, reading romantasy, and learning random facts she will likely never use. She teaches a variety of classes from Bratting as a Service to Humiliation and Degradation and has taught in several states. She is neurospicy so please don't be offended when she is, inevitably, terribly awkward.

Protocol 101: Adding Power Dynamics to Everyday Life

Wouldn’t it be hot to have your submissive serve you breakfast in the nude every day? To have your Master dress you like a slut? Do you want a submissive who asks permission before making a decision? An Owner who sets you punishments when you fuck up? Well, to misquote Ian Malcolm, “Life, uh, gets in the way.”

In this class we’ll talk about how protocols can be implemented in a power exchange dynamic when the forces of life make it difficult to live the lifestyle as fully as we might wish. We’ll talk about what it looks like to hold a leash or wear a collar when those items have to be metaphorical. We’ll lay a groundwork for what protocols can bring to a relationship, why they can be so damn hot, and how they can improve a dynamic. We’ll go over how they can be enforced publicly and privately. At the end we’ll workshop ideas with the attendees for implementing protocols in their relationships. 

This is an interactive discussion, so please bring questions and ideas of your own. This is an entry level workshop, no prior experience is necessary.

Premium shirts designed and hand printed by us. We are also big advocates for sustainability so most of our pieces are printed upcycled garments.

Interactive Demo Stations:

Feel like testing the waters? Experience the thrill of a flogger, the heat of a fire wand, or the spark of electricity as skilled tops demonstrate and guide you through fire play, electro play, and corporal punishment. A great opportunity for curious beginners or those looking to try something new! Demo stations will only run the first hour after class this month.

How to Register: 

To attend, you must first complete a FREE online membership application and be approved before registering. Applications are due no later than 8:00 AM on the day of the event. If you've attended before, simply register for the event without needing to reapply.

Membership Process:

- Complete the FREE online membership form (details must match your government ID).
- You MUST list KIC Events as the sponsor or your membership request will be denied.
- Confirm your email (check your spam folder). Your application will not be submitted without this step.
- Once approved, create a user ID and password, then register for the event by clicking RESERVE NOW
- Purchase tickets in advance for a discounted rate, or pay at the door after your approval.

Important:

You must present a valid government-issued ID for entry. 

NO ID = NO ENTRY.

Cancellations: 

Email KICEventsLLC@gmail.com by 2:00 PM the day of the event with your legal name for a credit to be used toward a future event.

Dress Code: 

Arrive in “street legal” attire with your body appropriately covered, but feel free to change into your kinkiest leather, latex, or festive holiday gear once inside. No sweatpants or worn jeans allowed. Restrooms and lockers will be available to store your items (KIC Events is not responsible for lost or stolen belongings).
